Arrested for DUI?

Arrested For DUI, Now What?

The biggest mistake a person can make after being arrested for DUI, is not hiring an attorney within ten days. The reason for that is if you refused the breath test, your license will automatically be suspended for one year. If you did not refuse the breath test but blew over a .o8, depending on the level of the blow, your license will automatically be suspended for 6 months to a year, unless you hire an attorney and hire us specifically to attempt to get it overturned.
“It is much harder to go back and attempt to clean up the spilled milk, than when the milk is spilling out of the glass to mitigate it down the drain.”
What we do is we take that spilled milk (your DUI arrest), we guide it down the drain for you, keep it from spilling over into every part of your life, and so everything doesn’t have to get cleaned up. Acting now and understanding that you need help is the first step in mitigating the damage.

Arrested For DUI And Handling the Case Yourself

“The person that represents himself has a fool for an attorney.”

The old saying above cannot be more true for a DUI case. Waiting or trying to handle this mess yourself will generally end up in a worse situation, or more than likely end up with you going to an attorney anyway, after doing some damage to your case. Handling the case yourself will generally end with you missing more work, failing to get a temporary license, and spending money you didn’t have to spend when you could have just hired an attorney in the first place.

After being arrested for a DUI, the way you handle your case from that moment on is crucial. There are ways to do it right, and ways to do it wrong, and the way to do it right is to call us at Roy & Amico Law Group. We’ve delt with just about any kind of DUI case there is, and we understand. We will walk you through a process that is most likely foreign to you, but it’s not to us. Mention the video above and receive a free consultation.
